Money is speech

And corporations are people too, my friend.  So how long will it be before the Supreme Court tells us that Corporations, since they represent shareholders, get to vote?  From there the move is obvious: the corporation should get to vote as many times as there are shares in the company.  Of course, in order to make sure that nobody votes twice, that’ll hafta mean that regular citizens don’t get to vote anymore.  In fact, unless you own stock in a corporation, the term citizen will no longer apply to you.  I wonder if they’ll get rid of term limits before or after the first corporation is made President?

It’s a brave new world we’re building.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Be seeing you.
